Keynote Speaker Barry Lopez

The SPE National Conference, Passage, in Portland, Oregon will formally begin with the Keynote Address by Barry Lopez at 7pm on Thurday, March 17, 2005. The Newmark Theatre will provide the beautiful setting for our keynote speaker. The theater was designed in the Edwardian-style of refined European theatres. It is conveniently located in easy walking distance of the conference hotel, the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower. Volunteers will be available to direct conference attendees toward the Newmark Theatre.

A welcome reception will take place in the Ballroom Foyer of the conference hotel from 8:30-10:00pm, directly following the keynote presentation.
